INTRODUCING

Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Webinar

This training is essential for all healthcare workers who care for dementia patients. The National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners developed this training to educated and equip caregivers to provide excellent care to dementia patients and is an important step towards the certified dementia practitioner. Sponsored by Elaia Senior Move Management.

A word from Elaia Senior Move Management

Two years ago I found myself in a new role as caregiver and advocate for my aunt and uncle. I worked with hospital staff, social services, legal services, and caregivers to move them to a new home. Due to a severe health crisis and diabetes, dementia invaded my uncle’s mind, changing his personality and robbing his family of the man they loved. It was during this experience that I became more aware of the needs of seniors and specifically of dementia patients. I also saw a need for quality training for caregivers of dementia patients. Many seniors need assistance in finding a better-suited home and getting moved. Elaia Senior Move Management meets that need. I am committed to assisting seniors to move with honor, respect, and dignity. One of my goals is to understand the needs of those I serve which includes seniors in various stages of dementia. I also want caregivers to understand the specific needs of dementia patients. Therefore, Elaia Senior Move Management is proud to provide this training for you at an introductory reduced rate.
